Cam felt the momentary pain of his entry. It was nothing compared to the overwhelming joy of having him inside her. They were complete, as one, and she had given this gift to him. She wrapped her legs around him. Crossing her ankles behind his back, she pulled his face close and kissed him. She knew he was doing his best to be gentle, but she wanted him to experience everything, the passion, the renewed strength in his body. She reached between their bodies and touched the shaft of his organ right where it met her and he groaned. “Can’t control it anymore.”

“Don’t, my darling, do with me as you will.”

He took her bottom in his hands and brought her hard against his body while he moved deeply inside of her again and again. She closed her eyes, lost in sensations she’d never experienced. She saw swirling colors, violet, pink and green. She wound her fingers through his hair, touched his face and tightened her legs, shuddered with the force of the sensations coursing through her body.

When insanely strong spasms raced through her sex, she moaned and screamed his name. It was like a miraculous bursting open. Drex stiffened and warmth flooded inside her. He stopped moving, his entire body still, then he slowly, carefully, let go of her bottom, rolled to the side and took her with him. They lay together like that for several moments, breathing hard.

He touched her hair. “I love you so much,” he whispered.

“I know,” she said in a voice thick with love. “I could tell by the beating of your heart and the amount of shocks the vest gave you.”

He drew her into a tight embrace. “I guess I have a tell-tale heart.”

  About the Author

  Melanie Thompson

I always loved reading, so it seemed natural to write. I became a reporter, where I learned a lot about people, to be a better writer, and to edit my own material. I attended writers’ conferences where I honed my novel writing skills.

I’ve lived all over the world, worn many hats, been many different people and learned a lot of crazy skills. Horses were always my passion. I worked as a groom and a handler before I became a reporter. I now live in the country with four dogs and my husband. It’s quiet, and I can paint and write to my heart’s content.
